Enclosed is short level that experiments with both level design and Kismet scripting. The goal of this project was to act as a prototype for a game concept as well as to experiment with different approaches on level design. The level was built using UDK. The timer, lights, animations, and the activation of events and particle effects were all implemented strictly using Kismet.
I designed, built, and populated the majority of the map with various aesthetics, bringing it to life and giving it a more “lived in” feel. This includes the creation of custom assets such as flickering lights and the implementation of animations and particle effects. I also created a functional timer in Kismet that was used in conjunction with “status lights” which would show the remaining level of power.
